💡 Pro Movement Tips:

✓ Variable Jump: Hold jump longer for higher jumps
✓ Double Jump: Tap jump again mid-air (if character has ability)
✓ Wall Jump: Tap jump near walls to bounce off
✓ Wall Slide: Hold jump near walls to slow down
✓ F.L.U.D.D. Hover: Hold jetpack button to fly, release to drop
✓ Sprint Tricks: Hold left/right for momentum, release to stop quickly

⚠️ Important Mobile Tips:

• Screen Orientation: Play in landscape mode for best experience
• Button Placement: Bottom corners for easy thumb access
• HUD Info: Top-right shows HP, coins, level progress
• Character Avatar: Bottom-right shows current character & abilities
• Ability Indicator: Bottom-left shows special ability status & cooldown

⚡ Special Abilities

🎯 Every character has ONE special ability activated by pressing E
🔑 Priority System: If your character has multiple ability-granting traits, only the highest priority one becomes your special ability
📊 Priority Order (highest to longest):
1️⃣ Weapons → 2️⃣ Wings → 3️⃣ Tattoos → 4️⃣ Mouth → 5️⃣ Clothing → 6️⃣ Hair → 7️⃣ Type
⏱️ Cooldown: Each ability has a cooldown timer (shown in the UI) - use it wisely!
✨ Fallback: If you don't have any special traits, your character Type gives you an ability (Orc Smash, Power Boost, Divine Flight, Shadow Strike, or Ethereal Phase)
💪 Note: All other passive abilities from your traits remain active! Priority only affects the single E-key ability

⚛️ Quantum Traits (Legendary/Rare Only)

🌟 What are Quantum Traits? Special abilities on Legendary and Rare NFTs that add quantum physics-based effects to gameplay
📊 Three Tiers (Higher % = Triggers More Often):
  • Tier 1 (Legendary): 35-40% trigger chance - activates frequently
  • Tier 2 (Rare): 18-25% trigger chance - activates occasionally
  • Tier 3 (Uncommon): 15% trigger chance - activates rarely
👻 Phase Chance: Probability your character temporarily ignores collisions (pass through enemies/obstacles)
🎲 How They Trigger (RANDOM!): Quantum abilities are probabilistic - they have a % chance to activate:
  • When: Automatically checked during jumps, dashes, and flight
  • Chance: 15%-40% per action (shown as "Phase Chance" in stats)
  • Example: 25% Phase Chance = 1 in 4 jumps triggers the quantum effect
  • Not manual: You cannot manually activate them - they trigger randomly based on your actions
👁️ How to Tell They Triggered:
  • Watch for visual effects: wave patterns, ghost trails, particle shimmer
  • Character may briefly phase through enemies/obstacles
  • Sound effect when quantum ability activates
✨ Visual Effects: Quantum traits display special particle effects:
  • Wave patterns (wave-particle duality)
  • Probability clouds (Schrödinger equation)
  • Ghost clones (quantum entanglement)
  • Position quantization (Planck effects)
💎 Rarity: Only found on high-tier NFTs - check your profile to see if you have quantum-enhanced abilities!

⚛️ Quantum Orb Collection System

🎯 What are Quantum Orbs? Rare collectible power-ups that spawn in levels (60% in early levels, 40% in late levels)
🔐 Trait-Gated Access: Each orb requires specific traits to collect:
  💡 Light Orb - Requires Epic Wings (Dragon/Angelic/Dark/Phoenix) → Light Burst ability
  👁️ Eye Lens - Requires Rare Pupils (Compton Scattering trait) → Eye Beam ability
  🌊 Wave Blade - Requires Energy Blade accessory → Wave Slash ability
  ⚛️ Split Orb - Requires Rare Earrings (Triple Gold/Silver, Butterfly, Hanafuda) → Split Clone ability
🧭 Off-Screen Indicators: Pulsating arrows show orb direction + distance when spawned - look for the indicators!
⛔ Rejection System: If you lack the required trait, the orb pushes you away with a specific message explaining what trait you need
⚡ Temporary Powers: Collected orbs grant powerful temporary abilities - use them strategically!

💀 Death Protection & Survival Abilities

🔥 Phoenix Revive: Characters with Phoenix Tattoo or Butterfly Earrings have a 15-20% chance to revive at 30% health when they would die
  • Grants 3 seconds of invincibility after revival
  • Golden phoenix particle burst visual effect
  • ONE-TIME use per level - use it wisely!
💀 Cheat Death: Characters with Demon Wings or Skull Earrings have a 10-12% chance to survive at 1 HP when they would die
  • Grants 2 seconds of invincibility after cheating death
  • Dark crimson soul burst visual effect
  • ONE-TIME use per level
🪝 Ledge Grab: B-tier Hair gives 7% chance to grab platform edges when falling past them
• Character automatically pulls up after 0.5 seconds
• Great for recovering from missed jumps!
🛡️ Fall Damage Reduction: B-tier Hair reduces fall damage by 5%
• Damage only applies after falling 200px
• 1 HP damage per 50px beyond threshold

🐾 Companion System

👻 What are Companions? Spirit allies that follow and assist you in combat
• 7% chance to summon at level start (Rare Pets/Companions trait)
• Appears as glowing purple orb with ghost icon
⚔️ Combat Support: Companions automatically attack nearby enemies
  • Attack Range: 80px
  • Attack Damage: 15 HP per hit
  • Cooldown: 1.5 seconds between attacks
  • Awards +12 bonus points for companion kills
🎯 AI Behavior: Companions follow you and seek out threats
  • Stays 60px behind player for optimal positioning
  • Automatically targets nearest enemy in range
  • Purple particle burst shows attack activation

🔥 Status Effects & Combat

🔥 Burn Damage Over Time (DOT): Fire-based abilities now deal real damage!
  • 5 HP damage per tick (every 0.5 seconds)
  • Lasts 3 seconds (6 ticks total = 30 HP damage)
  • Can defeat enemies via burning
  • Awards +15 bonus points for burn kills
  • Triggered by: Fire Pupils (20% chance), Fire Weapons, Fire Breath
❄️ Freeze Effect: Ice/Frost abilities immobilize enemies for 2 seconds
  • Enemy speed set to 0 (completely frozen)
  • Ice blue particles and snowflake icon
  • 10% trigger chance from Ice/Frost traits
🗡️ Backstab: Attacking from behind grants 1.5x score bonus
🎯 Headshot: Stomp attacks deal 1.5x damage
⚔️ Cleave: Large weapons hit multiple enemies in 75px radius

💰 Collect coins to increase your score
🎯 Jump on enemies from above to defeat them
🔥 Use burn effects strategically - they can defeat enemies over time!
🐾 If you have a companion, let them help with tough enemies
💀 Death protection abilities activate automatically - trust your build!
🌟 Perform tricks in the air for style points
🏆 Reach the goal flag to complete the level
⚛️ Watch for quantum orb indicators - they're rare but powerful!
